About the Role

As an Assembly Operative - Pipe Fitter, you'll be responsible for a variety of processes to produce pipes as part of the seat assembly. This includes cutting pipes using an electric saw, setting and operating pipe bending machines, hand-fitting pipes to the relevant form blocks, and conducting inspections to ensure quality standards are met. You'll be a crucial member of the team, contributing to the success of the ejector seats produced on-site, ultimately helping to save lives.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this Assembly Operative - Pipe Fitter role will have a broad experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, as well as a background in manufacturing or engineering. Knowledge of health and safety policies, COSHH regulations, and SAP experience would be highly advantageous. You'll need to be a team player with the ability to work independently, and a mechanical apprenticeship would be desirable.
