JOB DESCRIPTION: Area Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Equipment Coordinator - Aerospace, Automotive
 
As our Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the acquisition, support and further development of new and existing customers and key distributors within an assigned territory. You will work closely with the inside sales and marketing teams and with sales management to achieve significant revenue growth in these territories. You will also be responsible for managing and coordinating all equipment opportunities, working hand in hand with the Regional Sales Managers.

A more detailed brief will be made available to those who are shortlisted but in short, as our Area Sales Manager, you will:
 
· Value added sell to key customers and distributors, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.
· Manage existing key accounts and Distributors working with inside sales, sales management and customer interaction
· Develop and execute strategies to create organic growth in assigned territories working with our inside sales, marketing and sales management.
· Sell consumable products and accessories we offer, as well as capital equipment with the help of Product Management and the rest of the team.
· Keep Salesforce (CRM) fully updated with opportunities and review meeting notes/activity levels.
· Increase knowledge of Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Applications for consultative selling with key accounts and distributors.
· Develop or enhance sales capabilities through continuing education seminars and/or programs
· Coordinate equipment opportunities, working together with the Technical Department and Regional Sales Managers.

· Ideally Degree qualified within business, engineering or a related field preferred.
· A track record of sales success opening new accounts and managing accounts. Any key account management experience would be a distinct advantage
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· Experience in using and maintaining a CRM system is preferred.
· Execute a strategic sales hunter mindset combined with excellent account management.
· Strong communication and influencing skills to communicate value propositions at all levels within key accounts or distributors.
· Experience in the European Aerospace or Automotive industry is a definite plus.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· You are results-oriented, self-organized and self-motivated, as well as highly reliable. Your colleagues appreciate you as open-minded, team-oriented, self-confident and assertive.
· Attitude is critical - your positive, optimistic, energetic and hands on attitude should be an inspiration to customers and peers.
· You must be able and eager to travel freely within assigned territory (including overnight travel) a minimum of 20% of the time. Additional travel may be required depending on business requirements
