The successful candidate willhave a strong background in control systems, model-based design,and extensive experience with power electronics, specifically DC-DCconverters, inverters, and rectifiers. This role involvesdesigning, developing, and optimizing control algorithms and modelsto improve the performance and efficiency of our power electronicsystems. What will you be doing at eInfochips? - Control SystemDesign: Develop and implement control algorithms for powerelectronic systems including DC-DC converters, inverters, andrectifiers. - Model-Based Design: Utilize model-based designtechniques to simulate, analyze, and optimize the performance ofpower electronic systems. - System Modeling: Create and validatedetailed models of power electronic components and systems usingsoftware tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or equivalent. -Performance Optimization: Conduct performance analysis andoptimization of power converters to ensure high efficiency,stability, and reliability. - Embedded Systems andMicrocontrollers: Design and implement control algorithms onembedded systems and microcontrollers. Ensure seamless integrationand real-time performance of control systems. - Testing andValidation: Develop and execute test plans for control systems andpower electronics, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing andreal-time simulation. - Documentation: Prepare comprehensivetechnical documentation, including design specifications, testreports, and user manuals. - Collaboration: Work closely withcross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, softwaredevelopers, and system integrators, to ensure seamless integrationof control systems into the overall product. - Innovation: Stayupdated with the latest advancements in control theory, powerelectronics, embedded systems, and model-based design methodologiesto drive innovation in our products. What are we looking for? -Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering,mechatronics engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 yearsof experience in control system design and model-based developmentfor power electronic systems, specifically DC-DC converters,inverters, and rectifiers. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency incontrol algorithm development and implementation. - Strongknowledge of power electronics and electrical circuits. -Experience with model-based design tools such as MATLAB/Simulink,PLECS, or equivalent. - Great knowledge in embedded systems andmicrocontrollers. - Familiarity with embedded systems and real-timecontrol. - Experience with HIL testing and real-time simulation. -Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices. - SoftSkills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to managemultiple projects and priorities effectively. - Attention to detailand a commitment to quality - Able to work in a team environment. -Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative.
