Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with a renowned marine company who have been designing and building workboats for over 30 years in South West Wales specifying in pilot boats, patrol boats, work boats and wind farm support vessels. They are renowned for their quality workmanship and extensive marine knowledge offering new boat builds, refits, maintenance and repair.

Due to an opening for an Aluminium welder/fabricator to join there already established team, they will require and need welding experience for the site in Pembroke docks.

Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks (disclosure & barring service) may be required. Please also note at this time we do not offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Day to day duties for a Aluminium welder/fabricator:

• Using hand and machine tools
  
  
• Welding of metal fabricated items using MIG / TIG,
  
  
• Working aluminium and some steel and stainless steel assemblies.
  
  
• Understand and interpret engineering drawings
  
  
• Responsible for ensuring work is to a standard to ensure quality of end product.
  
  Knowledge/Experience for a Aluminium Welder/Fabricator:
  
  
• · Apprenticeship or similar training as a fabricator if welder proof of previous coding within last 3 years
  
  
• Experience in Aluminium Welding
  
  
• Experience of working with a wide range of instructions/drawings requiring some interpretation
  
  
• Ability to work as part of a team to achieve quality standards and meet production deadline
  
  
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision
