We are seeking an experiencedAssembly, Integration, and Test Engineerwith a strong background in space applications to join a cutting-edge satellite project. This role focuses on the mechanical design, development, and testing aspects of satellite integration.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will oversee the mechanical systems integration of satellite components, ensuring structural and mechanical reliability throughout assembly and testing. With expertise in space industry standards, you will lead theassembly, integration, and validationprocesses to meet mission and project requirements, working on all mechanical aspects from design and development to testing and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadmechanical design, integration, and testingfor satellite components, ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards.
- Develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for structural and mechanical parts.
- Plan and conduct rigorousmechanical tests, including vibration, thermal, and structural tests.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure precise integration of mechanical and electrical components.
- Ensure compliance with space-grade materials and specifications for all mechanical systems.
Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experiencein the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems for satellite or other space applications.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Experience with mechanical testing procedures, including vibration and thermal testing.
- Strong understanding of space industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
