Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking an experienced welder for an exciting opportunity in the South of the UK to carry out fusion welding and brazing for complex components on behalf of a well-known aerospace client with a large customer orderbook that includes large civilian and military organisations.The position itself will be focused on TIG welding as well as aluminium brazing on thin sheet materials for a wide variety of aerospace parts, notably this will include small batches or one-off components. Preferably, you would have knowledge in creating weld cards for all procedures that are carried out as well as following customer drawings and specifications.Successful candidates will hold extensive experience within welding and brazing as well as knowledge of using a variety of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, and nickel alloys working within thin gauges between (phone number removed)mm.
