The Business and Administration Division provides administration, clerical and project support to professional colleagues working in Public Health and Health Policy. This role carries out tasks that could be described as PA type tasks, but our role is much more than that. We are looking to attract candidates that have significant experience in carrying out business and administration type tasks. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team of staff, developing your own skills and supporting the wide range of functions that Public Health and Health policy provide.

For this particular role we are looking for someone who has strong communication, organisational and minute taking skills. The postholder will provide administrative support to East Regional Health Protection Service. The Regional Service provides Health Protection function for NHS Lothian, NHS Fife, NHS Forth Valley and NHS Borders. It should also be noted that the service is expected to move to a host board in the future.

This role will be hybrid working with 2 days minimum requirement for being in the office each week.
